The Second Annual Operation Feed Back Poker Run will be August 25th, 2013.

Operation Feed Back is an outreach of Hands of Hope Food Bank to our Military, past and present, and their immediate family members.

We provide a "Hand Up", rather than a "Hand Out". We believe in Empowerment, and not Entitlement. Our program is staffed by Veterans, Active Duty, Guard, Reserve and their families. It is truly brothers, sisters and family helping each other out.

Operation Feed Back and Hands of Hope Food Bank, are dba's of Empowering Parents, Inc, a Federally recognized 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, 509(a)(1) Public Charity. We recieve NO government funding for our organization. This is a Hand Up, and NOT a Hand Out!

We have been serving on Tuesday night in our new location at 295 Gentry Way, Suite 19, Reno, NV for over three years now. We are located in the back of the San Gabriel Center at the corner of Yori Ave and Gentry Way.

We have expanded our facilities in February 2012 with another 3,000 square feet of combined warehouse and office space. The service and products that we are able to provide to the local community with these resources are needed by the community.

Through our Shared Maintenance Fee (SMF) of $10 per family per visit, we have been able to cover our operating expenses and procure a second 24' Refrigerated Truck. We have just completed the installation of 2 new walk-ins, a 8x8x8 Freezer, and a 8X8X8 refrigerator (Thanks to the employees at Jones West Ford for the donations to help complete the walk-ins).

This has allowed the organization to increase the number of donation sources, and also receive a much larger variety of products from our sources.
